“The room was very big, super comfortable bed. Amazingly quiet neighbourhood. We slept greatly. It was very clean, we got delivered free water, fruit and milk everyday in our room. Although only one receptionist spoke English, the others were incredibly kind and let us also check-in before time, since we come pretty early in the morning. They always made their best to help us! Metro station in 5 minutes walking distance. Just great! Will stay there again, if we happen to be in Shanghai again, I really recommend it!”

“The location of this hotel is excellent - I could not have picked a better location. The staff was wonderful - very patient with me and my friend who speak no Chinese. The rooms were clean and the beds were very firm (I like a firm bed but my friend prefers a softer bed than this hotel provides) and we slept very well! The decor and vibe of the hotel is very nice and provided a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Shanghai. My friend who I was visiting in Shanghai was very impressed with the hotel and is recommending it to other visitors. I highly recommend this hotel!”

“Lovely hotel in excellent location, in a proper old alley bang smack in the middle of French Concession. Very comfi room and bed. Breakfast is included and ok! A mix plate of English and Chinese, and a seperate bowl of congee. Personnel is super friendly although English not fluent :) Very easy to reach by metro.”
