“This is a best value hotel in the area, in my opinion. It is a family run hotel which to me is more appealing than the mega corporate chains. There's definitely a family touch of kindness here. I've traveled to the area multiple times during the year and I always stay here. I'm often getting in late (arriving near 11 pm) and the owners are always very kind about greeting me at the desk "after hours". With my 4-5 total stays to consider, I've never had a bad experience here. I think the water has improved recently-last time I noticed it was better.”

“This motel is super clean!!!!! We have taken many trips and this is by far the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in. Owners were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us out even by calling our restaurant to make sure it was open as it was about 5 miles away. The breakfast that we had was excellent even though it didn't include any hot items the cold items to choose from were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay there again when in the area.”

“We had a wedding near Lake Delavan and this hotel was perfect for our family of 4. The rooms were clean and spacious. Nice perks to have free continental breakfast and an indoor swimming pool. The breakfast isn't fancy, but plenty of options to choose from...coffee, milk, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal and a variety of pastries, bagels and breads. Would definitely stay here again if we're in that area.”
“The rooms were clean. The staff was excellent. This is a great place to stay if you are going to Yerkes Observatory to look through one of the telescopes. The property is close to town but slightly off the beaten path. The breakfast was small but adequate. I actually stayed an extra night due to the great value and location. Thanks!”
