“We stayed for 4 nights at the resort and we loved every minute. The warm and personal attention we received from the staff was incredible. Nothing we asked was too much and everything was made possible. We got a free coocking class in the kitchen and could order the food we wanted. The manager of the hotel (also Belgian) offered us some drinks and a private river cruise, just to name just a few of the things that made our stay wonderfull”

“Excellent staff and vast variety at breakfast. The Sri Lankan omelette was superb. Yes, a little slow service at times but hey we were on holiday and what's not to like waiting on the veranda in the sun just chilling out. Thanks for a great stay!”

“We've stayed in 8 different places during our SL visit, all with customer rating 8+, but this one was by far the best. It's a NEW 4-star hotel, all of those stars well-deserved. It has evrth good hotel should offer (but what many SL guesthouses lack): modern design, super-clean rooms and bathrooms, hot shower (omg, the water was really hot, not slighly warm, like in most other places), fast wifi (youtube-fast). The pool is great: always clean with a nice view of the lake. There is a secluded beach nearby. Restaurant is good and not too expensive, breakfast was the best we had in SL (wide selection of dishes rather than just toasts and fruits). "Happy hour" for drinks lasts 11 hours ) Also if you want a boat trip on kogala lake, the boat man is just 30 meters away from the pool area. His price is very reasonable - 2000/2 hours”
“Really lovely and clean hotel. The staff were fantastic and really friendly. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. They all have balconies, some with a pool view but we had the lake view...both very nice settings. The on site restaurant does really nice food. The pool is really nice to sit around and it's located right but a river and a train line (though you don't notice that) and round the back there's some cows wandering around. It's a few minutes walk or a tuc tuc ride to a few other restaurants. I would stay there again.”
“Breakfast was really good. Fruit juices prepared were fantastic. Good location. Nice to sit by the pier and watch life go by on the Koggala lake. (Trains, boat safaris, fishermen etc.)”
