“It was an incredible experience traveling here off season and being *the only* guests in the hotel. Spent an extremely peaceful and quiet evening there. They even opened the restaurant for us in the evening so that we could have tea and dessert. The room with the balcony was very spacious and the entire atmosphere very lovely.”
“best view, best location, best sttaf, best decoration and best history”
“Location and History of the property is a great bonus. I love the historical traditional interiors, super sea views from the windows and breakfast is super authentic. Rooms sizes are excellent and Family rooms are super convenient and appropriately designed well. Great day time light and airy rooms.”
“Stylish communal areas, understated, attention to detail. Past the front two rooms the decor becomes more simple.”
“This is a great hotel - art deco with polished wood, high ceilings and lovely furniture. It feels like a time capsule from a different age - its not faded grandeur just grand with a Turkish accent. Lovely pool and gentle staff.”
“Everything was PERFECT! The rooms, bar, restaurant, view; all were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Leaving the hotel was a torture ☺️”
“Nice historical place, a place with a soul. Very comfortable room”
“Every single detail...the ambiance especially. It is like you hop on a time machine and travel back in time! Worth it...go for it!”
“We went there with a group of friends.. the hotel is simply amazing..very elegant yet cozy.. very good continental breakfast.. we went there on Christmas day and enjoyed the Cristmas tea in the afternoon. The bar is ideal for drinks before or after dinner..”
“I stayed in the room 55, 2nd floor. The location is amazing. Ask for a room with sea view. The only bémol was the size of the bathroom sink (I told to the Reception) the breakfast buffet is ok not much you would expect from a hotel in special category. The historical character of the hotel (one of Buyukada's landmarks) - the hotel Ataturk once stayed is the biggest advantage of the property. If you like photography/vintage places (dating back to 1910s), you will like this place.”
