“I didn't realise reception closed at 8pm, but the manager was kind enough to wait another half an hour for me to arrive.”

“I was very happy with my stay here. I read the reviews before booking and some people seemed to think the rooms weren't fancy enough. For me, it was just what a needed--perfect. I requested a quiet room with a bath, and got just that. A bath with a skylight, in fact! (Not sure how many rooms have that, but it was great.) Comfortable beds, with real feather pillows (none of the foam ones like you get in the US!) The staff was also very helpful when my luggage was lost by the airline: they called the airport a couple of times in my behalf, and took my luggage right to my room when it arrived and I was out. Oh, and breakfast was quite tasty, including hot chocolate!”
“This hotel is situated right in the middle of the main street in the old town. About 15 minutes walk from the rail station. The narrow gauge station is best reached by taxi due to the hilly nature of the town. Very comfortable room, bed and great breakfast.”

“We had a good night at this hotel. The room was big and clean with a walk-in shower (NB: that means it's easy for the water to walk out of it as well!!). Had a really good night's sleep. Breakfast was great in a characterful room overlooking the main street. The man on reception was very friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our bags safely while exploring in the morning. It is easy to find the hotel from the train station (take the north bridge over the rivers).”
