“Attended a wedding party at lunchtime and evening and both were very well organised. The meal at lunchtime was delicious but the buffet in the evening was less so. I booked a single room for myself which was very small but adequate for one night but not for longer. On the other hand the triple room booked for my daughter and granddaughters was impressive. We all fully enjoyed our overnight at this hotel.”

“All staff we came into contact with made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room (a Super King, room 8) was a fantastic size, had everything we needed, including a jacuzzi bath that we didn't expect, so a nice extra touch. The restaurant for dinner was excellent quality and value, my wife even declared the duck to be the best duck dish she's ever eaten! We stayed here after a day out at Bolton Abbey which took about 20 mins to drive, so not sure of what else is around locally, but for somewhere really comfortable on a weekend get away, this place has to be one of the best places we've stayed at.
