“We were met by Dorothy the owner/manager who made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room. We were in room number 6 which was located at the top of the hotel on the second floor. The room itself was lovely, with a light painted décor. The hotel websites states a major refurbishment took place in 2012, our room looked so nice it could have been refurbished last week! The only ‘fault’, for want of a better word, were the wooden window frames that looked in real need of some maintenance. The bed was very comfy indeed, and the bathroom (with a shower cubicle) was light and clean with toiletries provided. Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room with the cereals and fruit selections laid out beautifully. We went for the cooked breakfast and that was very good indeed. There were all sorts of nice touches…such as having a hosepipe in the car park “in case of visits by seagulls”!”

“I asked them for specific things as I was travelling with my mum who has Parkinson's. They were only too happy to oblige and reassure me that they could make everything work for us. The location was lovely a few minutes from Lyme regis and the nearby coast in a tiny village with a great pub. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious and lovely and very clean and comfortable. Would totally recommend.”
