“The front of the hotel is the Black Olives restaurant owned by the hotel. From the street, you pass through the restaurant to the hotel. There is hot water 24 hours a day; room is clean and nicely equipped. Do not confuse this hotel with Kathmandu Grand Hotel - they are NOT the same.Located in the center of the tourist district. Taxis are out front when you want to go somewhere. Nothing is far from the hotel by taxi. Stayed for 4 nights with two rooms. Would return.”

“Breakfast is AMAZING!!!! It is in the attached cafe, there are plenty of options and it comes with freshly made juice and coffee. Way better than the normal boring hotel breakfasts. There is also a great view from the rooftop balcony! Also, you can purchase beer and water from the hotel fridge so you don't have to go out.”
“Quiet hotel in the car-free zone in Thamel, Kathmandu. The hotel is set back from the road, with a nice casual outdoor restaurant between the hotel and the street. Breakfast is included at the restaurant. The staff is very nice, speaks good english, and will give you directions to tourist sites and can help you get a cab”
