“OMG. There is so much we could say about this Inn. We arrived after a long drive and were warmly welcomed by the staff at the Inn. We were taken to our room, and were blown away as soon as we opened the door. Huge comfortable bed, great bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The Inn had booked us in for dinner as they were not sure if we had made other arrangements. We were glad they did and enjoyed the food so much we booked for the next two nights as well. The menu is extensive and has many Gluten Free options as well as vegetarian. It was cooked to order and was piping hot when served. A word of warning... the portions are big.... so think wisely if you want a desert..... which are awesome as well We had a great first nights sleep, aided I think by the good food, beer and long list of Gins !!! Breakfast was as good as dinner and is freshly cooked”

“Fantastic find, working in events, you become uber fussy but we could not fault this charming inn. We were caught in traffic and nearly missed dinner but they took our order and kept warm for us. Nothing too much trouble. Food great, staff great, facilities great! Many a place could learn from them! Only complaint......wished could have stayed longer and that it was nearer to us, we would use often! Superb!”

“Recently refurbished pub, but so much more. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. They were very busy and had been thoughtful enough to book us a table for dinner, otherwise we would not have got in. Very popular pub, great atmosphere. Rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of extras - e.g. plenty of milk not just a couple, bathroom goodies. We had dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing. Even had GF lager for my husband. A great find for us!! :)”
