“Warm welcome. Option to eat if wanted & also in room. Room & public areas clean though a bit dated. We had room 7 which was at the top - window is in roof so no real view. Nice & quiet overnight & bed comfy.”

“Room clean and all facilities in place. Welcome was great and friendly staff anxious to please. The village atmosphere was great and we came to visit my elderly brother who has trouble walking and the hotel was easy to enter for him and we had 2 very nice dinners in the quiet bar, where we talked and caught up. The prices were very reasonable and good value. Will come again.”

“Although the ground floor restaurant and toilets etc were very comfortable and well decorated, the bedroom we had was clean but very poor. It was in need of updating, especially the shower room.”
“Dinner in the bar was very good. Convenient place to stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and made extra effort to make sure that I was offered alternatives to the breakfast that I didn't like. I wasn't charged for the breakfast and they agreed that it should not have been served when I showed them the photo of it. They really tried to make amends for that disaster and I did appreciate their efforts.”
