“Room was comfortable. Good access for Cardiff - good bus and Taxi connections”
“The décor is so 1980s it feels like time travel! I had an uncomfortable bed though and no shower rose, so it felt as if I was being hosed down rather than a luxurious experience. As a single person I was offered a cramped table at breakfast but this was changed at my request. Breakfast was bad: tinned fruit, thin yoghurt, bad orange juice and terrible coffee. I paid £180 ouch!”

“So we travelled as a group on International Rugby weekend which tends to be a carnage weekend on a match. Given the pressures the hotel and its staff were under the place was clean and the food was nice. The leisure facilities are in the process of being upgraded but it is very well kitted out in terms of gym, pool and sauna. Staff could not do enough for you. The decor is a bit dated but all on very good order. There are no Electric car charging facilities but the manager has pro-actively raised this and there moves being made to address this. On the whole for a nice good value hotel slightly out of town (ie quieter) with great leisure facilities you can not go wrong. If I was touring across south wales this place would be a great base. Oh chaps, awesome staff but you could do with a better choice of wine ;)”
