“This hotel was recently renovated and is in ideal location near plaza but away from noise and crowds. Very large room with excellent views of the plaza. Nice restaurant with very courteous wait staff. Excellent breakfast buffet with hot and cold breakfast items in comfy, sunny breakfast room. Valet parking same price as self-parking and our car was always waiting out front when we arrived.”
“We were very happy with our stay at the Fontaine. It started with the absolute ease of parking in the garage just below the hotel. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The lobby was beautiful. Our room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was exceptional - the huge shower was so much better than the usual tub/shower combo one finds in lesser hotels. The bed was so very comfortable. We chose the Fontaine based on the reviews and the close proximity to Kauffman Stadium. We were in town to see a Royals game and appreciated getting to the ballpark quickly. In addition, the hotel was very close to several highly rated barbecue restaurants. We wished we could have stayed more than one night!”
