“The magnificent view of World's End and surrounding nature made it the most beautiful place we ever stayed in. The chef whips up excellent local and international dishes and hospitality was impeccable. The cabin showed great attention to detail,quality furnishings and fittings, thoughtful design eg conveniently located sockets; apart from tea making facilities, soft drinks were free. And the bed is one of the best we've ever slept in. The entire experience is unbelievable and we will definitely come back.”

“The location of the hotel is ideal. Nestled right in between the mountains with a river flowing right next to the hotel. Ideal place for relaxation, walk in nature. Food is awesome and staff very friendly.”

“The food at the Glenrock was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka, and good value even though the hotel was more premium. We had the restaurant to ourselves when we stayed and we were able to chat to the chef so we felt like we had our own menu cooked for us. The staff were super friendly and were helpful before our stay in organising transport and excursions. It is approx a 4 hour drive from the airport (you may be told it's 2.5 - it's not!), but the scenery and views from the drive are beautiful and interesting so didn't feel like a chore. The setting of the hotel is so scenic, our room was spacious with a fabulous view of the jungle.”

“Everything from the welcoming hospitality to food to the Roma and facility in there are just impeccably pleasing.The chef (Ravi) made us food of our preference and made effort to give it as organic as possible by getting the veggies from the farm directly to our plates with the best of his culinary skills👌🏼👍🏼The spa service was so soothing and professional that I now know how to treat myself when there is neck stiffness. Thanks for those brilliant tips mate(Pradeep).Lastly, Duminda was so good by going extra mile and getting me the passion fruit juice in off season for the days of stay and took us around to some breathtaking places for brilliant experience!!!If it’s not for the staff the property would just make u feel like just another nature kissed luxury resort!Even if U stay for a week u will feel short, must go place for all nature, food, water lovers 👍🏼😍”

“The croissants were exceptional, actually. As were both meals we had at Glenrock. Great scenery from our balcony, but with plenty of privacy. Excellent location. The staff were superb; friendly, helpful, and efficient. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we asked for. Quite a breathtaking place. We were sorry we had to leave.”

“We stayed for one night only in the Eco Superior Cabin as part of a three week trip exploring Sri Lanka and wished we had stayed longer. It is in a perfect natural setting, extremely comfortable and with a beautifully equipped room. Soothed to sleep by the sound of the river rushing beneath us. The in room dining was first class, excellent dinner and the breakfast pastries were freshly made and absolutely delicious. We were joined by a troop of monkeys who played on the balcony and eyed us through the windows, made the morning delightful! Thoroughly recommend The Glenrock, the staff are lovely and provided perfect care.”

“This is a must if travelling to Sri Lanka! The place is stunning and completely secluded in the beautiful mountains. The food was the best we had the whole time we was in Sri Lanka with lots of choice to choose from. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They took us on a trip to a wonderful waterfall, up in the mountains and on a local village walk. We also go a fish pedicure in the river at the bottom of the hotel. All for FREE. “The hotel staffs are amazing; super helpful and friendly. We were hosted by Asanka, wonderful young man, hardworking and always there for us to assist with sightseeing arrangements. As we are vegetarian, the chef & his assistant were very kind to arrange our daily meals according to our likeness. Don't miss the massage experience by the hotel therapist. He's one of the best therapists I've ever met. The overall experience was amazing!!! Thank you to The Glenrock team to make our staying so relaxing and pleasant.”
