“Being so close to the Gate of India makes it easy to find for taxi drivers and allows some sightseeing by foot (we prepaid a cab at the airport, walked the last 100m by Maps). In general everything was certainly top notch and might just about make the 4-star standard even in Europe. We really liked the different decor ideas on different floors. Room was spacious and very clean with great amenities (kettle, tea, coffee, bottled water). Shower itself was really good with unlimited hot water. Staff were very friendly. We very much appreciated their efforts to accommodate us despite our very early arrival (the breakfast was a life saver after travelling the night) and watching out for our request for a quiet room! The hotel restaurant also stood out; the breakfast was great and it turns into an Asian restaurant during the day, popular with locals. The separate bar had a good mood. Overall a great safe place to land for a first time in India.”
