“The Scouse guy that booked us in was excellent. He went the extra mile in showing us what we had and how it worked. Good air con and no outside noise. The beds were superbly comfortable and clean as was the bathroom with a shower the size of a car wash. The extra security door was a idea. So the hotel part of the property and the way it was run was really excellent !!”

“Friendly helpful staff. Best location in town and though this meant it could have been noisy, the room was surprisingly quiet even on market day & weekend. Great value breakfast available in pub.”

“Two luxurious nights spent at this lovely hotel The room was super, very spacious with a large double bed and a big tv. There was wifi and tea making facilities with complimentary still and sparking water. Upstairs had two more single beds and another tv. The large bathroom had a bath/shower. There was also a hairdryer and ironing board. There was no noise from the downstairs bar where you could buy good food including a great english breakfast. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of the town where there were plenty of shops, good walks and buses to other areas.”

“I marked the parking really good although it wasn't the hotel parking. We drove just past hotel and could park free overnight and buy a ticket for 4 hours for next day. It meant we didn't have to get to car till 12 the next day. Perfect. Well done local council for supporting local buisiness. The room was lovely and quiet, comfortable bed and we had a good nights sleep. Food excellent.”
