We enjoyed the French Press coffee in the room and the bed was very comfortable. We really liked the evening complimentary cocktails and beer which we enjoyed in the historic lounge area. Overall, a very nice hotel and the next time we visit Portland I'm sure we'll stay there again.”
“The location was perfect . The restaurant attached (Headwaters) was a great place for breakfast and meeting people. Also is right beside the Concert Hall and close to public transport , especially for the Red line to the airport”

“The hotel lobby had an historic look and the doormam with the beefeater outfit was a bonus. Everything was clean and the crisp cotton sheet were a bonus for me. I had a room on the 6th floor at a corner and it was very quiet. There were two sets of windows - the outer windows kept the hostoric look of the hotel and the windows set inside of those did a great job keeping the temperature even and the sound down. I liked having the bar and restaurant right there and the bucket of umbrellas for customer use was a nice touch since it does rain a bit in Oregon ;). Another bonus is the proximity the the Max train and other public transportation (including bikes)”
