“When we booked this hotel, it stated that it was just under 4 km from Ella. It turned out that it was 12 kilometers away, although we were concerned at first that it was too far away from Ella, when we arrived and saw the location and magnificent views we were so pleased that we had booked this hotel. Waking up early and seeing the sun rise over the hills, was spectacular. The Manager was outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. We paid him 1500 LKR to take us to Ella's Rock as a guide, which I would recommend. We had a fantastic selection of curries for dinner. Although the hotel is about 30 mins from Ella, it is a great place to stay. I would recommend that you ask the hotel to organize your transport, we found that they had a cheaper price of 900 LKR for a tuk-tuk to Ella.”
