“The accommodation is a modern boutique-style hotel in an incredible historic part of Kyoto (Gion). The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfy. Excellent proximity to shopping, restaurants, shrines and temples, and if you like to walk 1-5 miles and venture around like we do there is a great deal to see and do without ever needing to find other means of transportation. For those who prefer, subway, taxis and buses are abundant and very accessible and affordable. We have stayed here twice this year- during cherry blossom and fall color seasons and it was perfect both times. We will definitely be back again!”

Example of their attention to details: a cup of hot green tea when we arrived to check in, a happy hour with open bar for guests in the evening, a wonderful Japanese breakfast brought to our room. “the hotel was in a great situation close walk to the main center of kyoto, also close to a selection of food places and temples. the bath in the room was small but deep so surprisingly very good. i would highly recommend taking up the option to have the weston breakfast it about a 3 min walk but the food is great and fresh the coffee is great and the environment is wonderful.”
