“The hotel is situated in a get away from it all location, stunningly beautiful with view of Thorpe Cloud from our clean cosy room. Free wifi and TV. Lovely comfy beds. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, a lovely ambience throughout, even though it was very quiet during the week. Breakfasts were lovely as were the evening meals in bar. We didn't eat in the main restaurant, but that looked very nice too. (We preferred the cosy atmosphere in the bar area. A great place to stay if you want to relax and walk in the area. Bring your car as public transport not an option and nothing else near enough to walk to .......except the Stepping Stones in Dovedale which were picturesque even in the rain! A great 4 nights of relaxation. Thank you.”
