“Beautiful hotel with charming, friendly staff. They picked up that we were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary and surprised us with a delicious cake at dinner. Elegant but relaxed atmosphere. We had a wonderful duplex suite with roof terrace and windows on all sides. Good restaurant and tapas lounge bar, with excellent collection of Indian wines at reasonable prices. Courtyard pool small but very inviting.”

“I would highly recommend the Malabar House for anyone who wants the experience of a high end boutique hotel in a great location in Fort Cochi. All descriptions on its website were acurate - very comfortable and clean rooms and comfortable beds with luxury linens and five star comforts. The food service was of great quality and the staff was excellent throughout the property. It is very worthy of mention that the collection of Indian art on the walls of the property (including inside our room) is quite interesting and inspiring, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Our room at Malabar House was probably the single most beautiful hotel room I’ve ever stayed in (and I used to review the design of hotels). We were on our honeymoon and so we’re out in a special suite. Splashes of colour are mixed with a beautifully curated art collection, while 1930’s black framed windows give a sleek modern look.The FOOD was beautiful. Fresh seafood and perfectly balanced curries are impeccably presented and served by immaculate waiting staff while live traditional Indian music is performed every evening. Just lovely.”

“The staff at Malabar House was the kindest, most attentive to guarantee a wonderful stay at their beautiful oasis. Friendly, but professional, helpful but discreet, knowledgable and interested. We had the widest variety of a-la-carte menu options for breakfast. Their wine bar was very well stocked with the best of Indian wine varieties. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and I was spoiled with a birthday card in flowers, a delicatessen chocolate cake and candles and the evening entertainment performed Happy Birthday with their traditional Indian instruments. We were sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful group of people. What a privilege to have stayed there.”

“I loved everything about this property! The decor, the location, the staff were all absolutely fabulous! It was quiet season so I was treated like an absolute queen. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. The food was delicious, and the menu had a great variety. I wish I had booked to stay longer. The team heard I wanted a day at the spa so at no extra cost transfers me to their sister hotel, Purity Spa. This was potentially the best place I have ever stayed in my life. When I return to Kerala, I wouldn't even consider staying at another group of Hotels except for those ran by the Malabar Team.”
