“This is a great and unique location if you want to visit one of Amsterdam's true prisons, the 'Bijlmerbajes'. It is an unique experience to stay in a renovated cell, especially since this city's heritage is going to be destroyed soon. Do NOT expect luxury! The linens are clean, but the bathroom is shared and a smelly old prison shower . Bring your own breakfast! No bathrobes or slippers provided. No TV in the room. Basically, a great 'prison-like' experience for a night or so.”

“Loved staying here with my partner. Stayed in one of the old cells, it was so much fun. Very comfortable and really easy to get to just hop on a train and it’s 4 stops from main centre. We got a taxi from the centre too as last train is half 10pm and that was about €25. Staff were all lovely and welcoming too”
