“The staff was extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them speak English quite well--an advantage in Bejing, where English is not common. We stayed in the Yang room (the upstairs room with private deck), which is lovely. Also, this room was very quiet - we did not hear any noise from the hotel, the street, or other guests. However, the deck is fairly useless in cold weather, so take this into consideration when you select your room. The breakfast, which is included in the price of the room, is quite good, with a choice of many items. And the neighborhood is a lively place to be in the evenings, with many restaurants, and very safe to walk around (like all of Beijing).”
