“We stayed in suite 206. The property is beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and well stocked. We loved the quirkiness of this old property and the bedroom in 206 is awesome (stairs/ladder could be a challenge for some folks). The bed was very comfortable. Loved that we were in a quiet part of town but easily walked to Duvall Street and the Docks!”
“It was off the beaten path which we liked. Our room could have benefited with a chair. But it was clean, comfortable and quiet. It might have been nicer to be closer to "town" but the taxi system really works and I certainly wouldn't want to be bothered with a car. The front desk people were really very helpful and Sydney at breakfast couldn't have been nicer. Really liked the breakfast selection.”

“The facility was nice, it was very clean and comfortable. There was an effort to keep the building and grounds maintained. The craftsmanship of some of the maintenance was less than skilled however it did not interfere with the enjoyment of the facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. we rented bikes from the hotel so getting anyplace was fairly easy. I would recommend staying at this hotel to a friend”
