“-old hotel -not much lobby. 5-day stay- Housekeeping service was terrible. Bedding was re-arranged- not made-up and left askew. Had to make a special request for vacuuming up debris left by previous guest. Carpets very stained, beds too soft. We had (by booking.com and by phone to hotel) requested a quiet room-but had to move from the 14th flr that had loud, in-room constant wind noise with no way to turn off the fan.The second room, on 5th flr was only tolerable with white noise to cover traffic noise and garbage trucks. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful.Location was great so I guess city noise is hard to avoid. There was rarely a doorman to help open extremely heavy doors. Good restaurant but VERY loud and noisy.”
