“This was a perfect weekend getaway for our 19 year anniversary. We really liked the beautiful woodworking in the lobby areas. And the fact that it is walking distance to so many great attractions was great. We will be back.”

Valet was great and brought our items promptly to our room when we were ready, maintenance promptly brought up a requested complimentary mini-fridge, housekeeping promptly brought up extra towels, the room was extremely spacious, the amenities (except for the pool which was closed for repairs) were beautiful and clean, the food and service at Porter's restaurant was excellent and even the Starbuck's employees were top notch (there's an in-house Starbuck's, another perk in my opinion). We will definitely stay at the Read House again and recommend it to others.”
