“This hotel is excellent. I have stayed in 5 star hotels where the ambiance, service and food have not matched this hotel. Service and ambiance from the past but present day bedrooms and en suite facilities. Spotlessly clean and immaculate gardens with stunning views over the river.”
“A lovely cosy hotel, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely, looking over the river. Convenient for lovely walks around the Inches and along the riverside. Close to shops and entertainment also public transport if you wish to visit surrounding area. My husband and I look forward to staying in the Royal George Hotel again. We found the extra touches for guests made your stay.”

Beds exceedingly comfortable as was the room temperature. The staff were bright, cheerful and very helpful. The breakfast menu offered a wide choice and was well presented, hot and tasty.”
“Staff we’re great. Really helpful. Particularly the lady at breakfast. I had slept in and had just missed the end of breakfast but the waitress quickly got back to the. Kitchen and I was able to get me some lovely pancakes and maple syrup. Room was lovely and we had a faboulous view of the river , the bathroom was modern and clean.”

“This is an traditional old property with the usual uneven creaking floor boards.It is dressed in a traditional Scottish flavour with tartan carpets etc. The bedrooms are of a generous size and the beds are comfortable.There is no elevator to the upper floors.Meals are waiter served.”
