“Location is great for eating or catching a movie with lots of different food around. Hotel is funky and very eye-catching, but tastefully done Room was clean and very well appointed, and have to say TV, and on-demand movies were the easiest I've ever used.( TV sound system - best l have had in a hotel) Bathroom was good and shower excellent (noting we also had a spa in the Majesty Suite) Bed was extremely comfortable Probably one thing l liked about this hotel they just charged me for the hotel room on arrival and not this pain in the butt putting a holding fee on credit card. This hotel is very well appointed and excellent staff, but given the size of the room, there are others around for that price that is better in my opinion. Would l come back, probably not as its value for money is not quite there, but its a very well appointed and spotless hotel.”
“We happened to be greeted by a more junior staff on checking in, but it actually makes the stay so pleasant because she was so warm and welcoming, it makes a very good first impression on Taipei. She and one of her night shift junior colleague collaborated to come up with detailed itinerary suggestion for our stay in Taipei and surrounding areas! It made us feel so special. We enjoyed the quality shower and bathroom accessories using Hansgrohe and heated toilet seat. The room is new and modern, and has a non smoking policy throughout, so no passive smoke smell from air cond. But as we chose our room to upgrade, one of the rooms has a cigarette-like smell in the room, or it could have been from new carpet. Other rooms are fine. Hotel is closed to lots of bars on small lanes, shops, convenient stores, pharmacies, fruit stores and local eateries although may not have been the famous ones.”
