“Room was clean and warm.. very comfy bed and a good breakfast.”
“Excellent place. had used the hotel before . so did my business associate. Wonderful hospitality”
“This is a very pet friendly hotel which is always a bonus for us and there were plenty of safe areas to walk the dogs. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. We did not stay for breakfast as we had an early start the next day. Located in the centre of the village there were plenty of options to buy meals or food from the local shops.”
“Friendly, efficient staff. Good food and beer. Excellent location for my purposes, clean, comfortable room.”
“Like the friendliness & helpfulness of staff, it had been a long time since someone personally showed us to our hotel room. All the other clients, pub customers & overnighters seemed to be enjoying themselves as mush as we did, will definitely return in future. Very tasty evening meal & breakfast.”
“£60 for a good sized double room was excellent. When we arrived back late at night from a wedding we were told not to worry about check out time in the morning. With that in mind, we took our time, missed breakfast but decided to have lunch in the restaurant there. Surprisingly it was empty (but had just opened) as we encountered the best steak pie I can remember at a very reasonable price as were the drinks. I am glad some other people arrived and it deserves to be busier. When we couldn't get a taxi for our bus connection the owner arranged for a regular in the bar (who had only drunk a tiny sip of hist first beer) took us to the park and ride. This would not have happened in a city and he genuinely did not want to take anything for the trip but I could not allow this.”
“Spacious clean comfortable room. Huge breakfast. Friendly staff.”
“The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even went out of their way to give us a lift to a wedding venue nearby as it is difficult to get taxis in this area.”
“Convenient for an early flight from Edinburgh Airport avoiding Edinburgh town centre.”
“The breakfast was lovely, and on the days they do not serve evening meals you can bring back your takeaway food and eat it at the hotel in the dining room. Which we did and we ordered a pint of lager to have with our fish and chips.”
