“Location: super close to the city centre. Nice building from the inside, colonial style. Breakfast is good. The staff was magnificent, felt immediatly at home, best hospitality we had in this pricerange on our trip.”
“Convenient location near the center of town. Can easily walk into the center, not that there is much to do it see there. But the park in town is pleasant. Note that they charge foreigners a couple dollars to enter. Very nice staff, pleasant and helpful.”
“We basically had 2 rooms that were adjoined which were both huge. The beds were perhaps the most comfortable I have ever slept in and again were huge. The hotel felt like it was straight out of colonial times and had a lovely rustic feel. The staff couldn't have done any more for us including advising us about the Hortons' Plains and world ends hike to ensure we left early enough to avoid the mist. They ever prepared a little packed breakfast for us. The location is a little out of town up a hill but it only cost 2USD for a Tuk-Tuk. We were in easy walking distance for the Lake and Grand Hotel (great high tea!) and next to Victoria park.”
