“Attentive staff . English was ok. This is an old hotel that has been well renovated into a modern style. Our room was room was big and a good size by US standards. The staff were friendly and very organized. Breakfast here was worth the high buffet fee, about $27 . Shuttle service was great into Gion section and Kyoto station . Lots of restaurants in the station and in Gion . Best Sushi ever at Chojiro in Gion.”
“Great beds as usual with Westin. Location is very good, away from the already quiet 'bustle and hustle' in Kyoto, near the mountains, relaxing views of the city and nature. Rooms are smaller than usual considering the price, but then again, this is Japan, every square meter is highly priced. It's located 2 min walk away from a subway station which makes it super convenient.”
