“Room was very cold ...but someone did bring us a heater up and offer another room ...but everything else was perfect they even upgraded us because it was our first wedding anniversary”
“The hotel has scaffolding on it and clearly major financial investment is being put into this beautiful building. I booked a single room for one night and was given a room with a huge and very comfy queen size bed! Lots of comfy pillows too. The TV was easy to operate, there were plenty of teabags and milk and a kettle and hairdryer were provided. There was a shower attachment above the bath and plenty of good quality fluffy towels. I asked for and was allowed to check in early- a little after 10.00 and leave late - 12.00pm. The room and bathroom were spotless. The reception staff even put my shopping in a store room after this so I could get a few bits more shopping for my journey home later that day. The reception staff also ordered me a taxi and helped carry my shopping to the taxi despite the fact that it was raining. The reception staff are excellent. Finally, the location is perfect. It's seconds to the shops and the Montpelier area. It's a fantastic place to stay and great value, and as a lone female I felt completely safe. Thank you and see you soon. I will definitely return.”
“I have appreciated the atmosphere of the hotel, the fact that it is situated in a charming little town in the north of England as well. The staff was really nice and always trying to help us the way they could!! Our room was fairly big, and the wifi works really well (always a plus ;)).”

“Great big room, with the biggest bed I have ever slept on with 6 pillows very comfy indeed! Great centra location with free car parking could not be any better!
