“The hotel was beautiful, probably one of the best during our entire 2 week trip to Japan. Would have loved to stay for another night but the room rate is quite expensive. We paid extra for to evening meal which was a great experience. As we had to leave very early in the morning we had to miss our complimentary breakfast which was a real shame.”

“The location is about 15-20 minutes walk from Yumoto station, from station to hotel is uphill, so if you carry large luggage plz try the world most expansive taxi. The Yumoto station has buses to all the attractions of Hakone. The hotel has fancy looking building, probably the best looking of street and offers free drink (Suntory sparking drinks ) at roof garden, rice screwers at lobby (taste disgusting) and free ramen at night. The dinner and breakfast are fantastic looking and served at restaurant of second floor, but the taste is worse than its presentation. Do not choose seafood set for your dinner which has tiny tiny portion of seafood for hotpot (Japanese shabu-shabu).”

The hotel provides very good facilities and a lot of free drinks and snacks. The hotel looked new. The interior is contemporary style which made us feel pleasant. The staff are helpful.”
“Easy access to the Hakone circuit (we arrived late afternoon, left our bags at reception the next morning. The bus back from the lake stops in town). Lovely spot on the river. “Good location, very clean hotel, a nice river rippling down the rocks in front of hotel. 10 minutes walk to main street and station. Friendly staff, very good breakfast and dinner(half board) different on each day for 3 days 2 nights. Two private baths (1 hot spring, 1 silky) and separate public hot spring bath for male and female. A lot of help yourself freebies like drinks, ice block etc.”
