“The beds have real mattresses, rare for budget hotels in Nepal. The staff went above and beyond to help when my children became ill during our stay.”
“The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful! my room was clean, nicely decorated and good value!”
“Wonderful staff and top hospitality. I arrived late at night and restaurant was already closed. I said that I am not really hungry and only asked out of curiosity but the ‚auntie of the house’ came to my room with home cooked meal and tea. They did not charge for this and I see it as ultimate proof of hospitality, which you receive at this family-run hotel. I also received free room upgrade to a really bigger and more comfortable room. You can witness beautiful sunrise on the rooftop- this also comes for free if you wake up early :) Breakfast is cooked fresh for you. Boys at the reception are very helpful if you need a taxi or any information.”
“Staff is always willing to help you, very attentive and supportive, it is located very close to stores, supermarkets and beautiful temples, it is very quite at night. Good breakfast with local dishes, teas and coffee! Perfect for longer stays!”
“Super location in an old house just around the corner from Durbar Square, very friendly and helpful family, nice view from the rooftop. Good value for money.”
“Our room at Tulaja was magnificent. A double bed and a beautiful window to look out front. The bathroom and bedroom was seperated by a little annex which was a nice little bonus as sometimes it's not the best sleeping right next to a toilet 😉 The staff were super friendly and very helpful whenever we needed anything. The breakfast every morning was delicious and changed each morning. There is also a cool rooftop which you can see all of Bhaktapur and a little ways away Changunarayan, Nagarkot and even the splendid peaks of the Annapurnas.”
“Great bathrooms and hot water. Wonderful service, with staff going out of their way to assist. Even got up very early to make me breakfast and walk me to the bus station. ”
“Perfect location to visit dubar square, very welcoming staff and very good breakfast. ”
“Perfect location. Great value for money. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.”
“Small hotel but homely feeling and comfy bed, very friendly staff that goes out of its way to help. One of the best places I've stayed at in Nepal so far.”
