“Ground floor rooms with terrace are very good - the rooms are "shabby chic" but very comfortable. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is good.”
“This was a return visit after two years to specifically book room 20, the lantern room. This should be on anyone's bucket list for a hotel stay. The lantern room was exquisite and so comfortable. It affords a 360 degree view around Dordrecht from the top of the hotel. The bed room was a flight of steps beneath and very comfortable - best bed ever according to my wife. The restaurant is also exceptionally good and we had dinner and breakfast. The buffet breakfast is absolutely stunning.”

“Villa Augustus is a unique place. We had an attic room, which was lovely and had a spacious bathroom which an excellent shower. Breakfast was good (although cooked options cost extra), and we ate in the restaurant one night which was also very nice. The garden is superb with loads of spots to sit. Staff were very helpful when we had a power cut in our room! Location is a bit 'edge of town' (20 min walk). Bikes are available to hire, we cycled to Kinderdijk.”
