“The room is really comfortable and clean. They even provide you with a dryer, body lotion and all most places never do. It is spacious, the a/c worked pretty well and the shower is nice! It is a LOT better than most places we have stayed here in Sri Lanka so I do recommend it!”

“Shashi and his mother were incredibly friendly and caring hosts. The room was very nice and clean. The food prepaired by Shashis mother was very delicious. Shashi helped us with everything: Directions, Locations, he organized Tuktuks for us, a great whale watching tour, an umbrella and many things more. The beach is only 15min by food. All in all we enjoyed our time there very much.”

“I spent 1night in this local house in matara. The price is good The family is so kind and nice . They made me a delicious frech juice home made when i arrived .you feel like home It is a bit far from the beach but it was ok for me since it was only for the night . In case you stay longer you can walk until the beach but it will take about 20 to 30 min or you can take a bus to matara . Their rooms are really cute , clean with all the little details like in hotel exept there was no hot water. The owner speaks fluent english , he is really helpful and he can arrange for you tours in mirissa ( turle and whalewatching ) ”

“Wir sind schon viel in Südostasien und Indien gereist und diese Unterkunft gehört auf jeden Fall zu einer der besten, die wir in dieser Preisklasse erlebt haben! Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon und einem riesigem Bad. Alles ist noch neu und absolut sauber. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer für uns erreichbar. Wir konnten über ihn einen Scooter und eine Whale Watching Tour buchen und waren mit beidem sehr zufrieden. Wir durften sogar kostenlos unsere Wäsche waschen! Für einen fairen Preis kann man außerdem Frühstück und Dinner bestellen, welches von der Mutter des Hauses persönlich zubereitet wird. Das Essen war immer lecker und mehr als üppig. Wir haben meistens nur eine Portion für zwei bestellt! ;) W-LAN hat auch super funktioniert. Somit hat es uns an nichts gefehlt und wir können diese Unterkunft mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!”
