“Friendly. Top tier restaurant adjacent to the property. Order the mixed grill. Superb Sits in the old town square. Picturesque with very clean rooms. And top accommodation for the money particularly considering location to the airport and to Muncich. Train to Munich is a short distance away which make this a top place to stay if you with to go to Octoberfest and avoid the high prices and limited availability of rooms in Munich. Friendly proprietor”

“Over a 2 week stay in Bavaria (including a stay a schloss/castle and a luxury resort in Garmisch) this was one of the nicest! Truly a terrific value. The hotel is charming, the room was spotless, modern, and thoughtful. We had to leave early so missed breakfast but it looked great - instead we visited a lovely nearby coffee shop. The town of Dorfen is very charming - not sure there is much to see but it was a perfect last stop before we headed back home via the Munich airport. Finally - the restaurant next door was fantastic as well - highly recommend.”

“I absolutely loved this little jewel in the main square of a lovely small town. Everything was excellent!! I loved our room and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wonderful selection, including specialty coffees and personal attention to allergies. I was surprised because the hotel was so much nicer than I expected based on the website. What a wonderful treat! I only wished that we had planned to stay more than one night. Hopefully, we will be back as we have family in Dorfen. Next time we are there we will stay longer to explore and savour this lovely place. Definitely an excellent value for money too.”
