“We stayed in Walshs Hotel over night on Friday evening on the way to Snowy Mountains. It turned out that the hotel is more pub than a hotel. The pub was right below our room. There was a live band playing super loud until 1.30am. The room was shaking in the beats and it was impossible to sleep. When we went to complain about the noise the bouncers and staff was super rude and not helpful at all - they didn't turn the volume down even despite multiple complains. Worst experience ever. Wouldn't recommend to stay there, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.”

“Location was good for Canberra city centre if you have a car. In Queanbeyan. Canberra accommodation is expensive. Rooms were of good quality and modern for a suburban hotel / pub. Not many rooms and easy access to the bar and restaurant. Close to shops and eateries. Staff are friendly”
“If you are after a cheap motel that is close to the War Memorial and you don't mind sharing a toilet and shower (which was very clean). This is the place. The room was small but we weren't planning on staying in the room all day - too much to see around! Great places to eat nearby. Great for a couple of nights stay.”
