“We had a comfortable studio room in the annexe, with plenty of room, and patio doors out to a small private seated area. Lovely breakfast, and good quality live music in the bar in the evening. The property is right by the lake, where we had a couple of beautiful sunsets. We also used the 10% voucher in the room for a trip on the lake, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.”

“On arrival, I was able to park right outside at the front of the hotel. That was really convenient, and once settled in the next day, I used the large car park to the rear, which had a separate entrance to reception. Excellent staff in all dealings, from reception to the bar and those serving at breakfast. The hotel is right on the water's edge of Windermere, so it is great value for money in my opinion, being in such a beautiful tourist location. I had dinner in the bar and it was really good, with a great atmosphere, engendered by the open fires keeping the chill of the autumn night at bay. A great place to stay and to eat.”
