“Food in the restaurant was gourmet, the room and the lobby area were functional, ideal and useful. Heating, garden exit, water pressure, illumination, desk were all comfortable, I loved the snack 24 hour ready.”
“The breakfast buffet is one of the best (I can only think of one better) and the staff are always attentive without being trying. Marvellous choice and attention to detail (even the boiled eggs have the number of minutes marked on them). There are freshly made scrambled eggs if you prefer. For those requiring their services, there is a great bakery just across the road. The hotel uses their bread, and they will bake whatever you want in advance: German bread freezes well.”

“The breakfast was outstanding and catered for all tastes. Fresh bread from the bakery opposite (always worth a visit, but NB closed on Mondays), eggs timed to perfection (and labelled), smoked fish, ham, sausage, cheese, jams and other preserves, fresh fruit, and good coffee. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent.”
