“Staff were very friendly and helpful. Were able to locate bikes with toddler and baby seats for us which was great! Provided free fruit, water and tea on a number of occasions. Breakfast is simple Chinese food. It was filling and they gave us some options to choose from the night before. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if your goals is to be in the countryside and cycling around rather than in the town itself. The staff also helped book tours and transportation for us. I would have no problem staying at this hotel again in the future.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very helpful and easy to communicate with at all times. They helped me to book taxis and organise my trip. Everything was great! Location, the rooms.... the big bed and really nice view! For a little getaway and peace and quiet this place is perfect. A big bonus is also the restaurant right next to it, with really great food. I would come back definitely!”

“I cannot imagine that there is a nicer, friendlier and more comfortable place to stay in Yangshuo! The room was so lovely decorated like the complete hotel and of course it was clean! The outlook to the hills was amazing too. Finally, the people there... the hotel's bosses were very very nice (thanks for these tasty sweet potatoes and dumplings today!) and their helping hands were so helpful in every way (thanks Paul and Sira for your amazing tour tips and organisation!!!). “The most friendly staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. We were greeted at our car by name which was a nice touch. The décor of the hotel is fantastic. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We were invited by the hotel staff to join them for some freshly made steamed buns and local fruit.”

The hotel itself is great, the room is comfortable and decoration and rockery fantastic, but what really makes this place is the location, we walked around to enjoy countryside of Yangshuo, peaceful and gorgeous mountains around. Local people there are very friendly to travelers and foreigners, it is so different from the huge cities in China. Highly recommend Yangshuo and this retreat.”
