“This is one oft the nicest places we have been so far. If you are looking for a quite and laid back place in the nature, here you go. The place has only one room and so the lovely roof terrace is all yours.The room was super clean and the food was very tasty. The included breakfast was just great. Beach is in walking distance but the owner was so nice and gave us a lift. If we could we would have extended our stay for another 4 nights.”

“Great value for what you get! They are very welcoming and friendly people, will do anything to make you feel at home. He helped us arrange a scooter and dropped it off to us at the restaurant we were eating at further down the road. Great food! The view from the top floor was also very nice especially when you are sitting outside enjoying your breakfast in the morning.”

“Beautiful wooden guesthouse with a big room and a nice lake view. The Sri Lankan rice and curry for dinner and the traditional breakfast was really tasty. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We visited the perahera and the private dances in several houses in the village with him. It was a impressive and wonderful experience! Thank you very much! ”

“The couple who own and run this guest house are so sweet and friendly. They looked after us extremely well. My friend needed to go to Matara hospital and the man drove her all the way there and back in his tuk tuk. And he spoke to all the doctors for her. He really went above and beyond to help. He also gave us a lift to Rekawa Beach in the evening so we could see a green turtle laying her eggs by moonlight-it was incredible! The breakfast was very generous and everything was such good value. Overall we loved our time here!”

“The breakfast was amazing one of the best we've had. The staff were great considering we showed up an hour after booking before they had a chance to prepare. They drove us everywhere we wanted to go at a very good rate and even helped us onto our bus at the end to ensure we had the right one. Located very close to the turtle watch - a must see! Lovely roof terrace to relax on.”

“The couple running the place are very very sweet and kind people, perfect location sourrounded by nature,lots of trees, birds, lagoon and small nice village. You will also be able to see sea turtles nesting at Rekawa beach nearby! Very special! Food was just delicious, homemade and fresh. Youwill just want to stay one extra day all the time :)”

“Very nice host. Price is fair the room is very clean and new. It is a little far from the see and turtle watch we walked for 20min but we could have borrow a scooter without any problem from our hosts and they offered to pick up after the turtle watch by tuktuk”

“Situated close (20min walk) from the Turtle watch center and it was an amazing experience to see a huge turtle giving birth ! Breakfast (occidental and sri lankan) and dinner were huge and very tasty. The host is really nice, he brought us to the turtle watch by tuk tuk and arrange for everything we needed.The place is clean and the room is big with a niece view on the nature and the pond close by.”
