“In the hotel Ibis Lyon Centre Perrache we like almost everything: its location, sizes and cleanness of the rooms, hospitability of the personnel, tasty breakfast, parking place. However, it is not understandable, why is it necessary to block the full sum of payment for the room in spite of the fact that we have already paid it completely when we have booked the room (in other words, three months beforehand)? And it was known in the hotel that payment was done. During our tour in France we stayed in five hotels. Imagine, what would happen if each hotel would block the money on my bank card for three weeks?! It would be approximately 1000 euros impossible to be used during the trip. I hope you understand that it is not comfortable for the travellers. Fortunately, only in your hotel it was done like this. That is why we evaluate your hotel as “good” but not “excellent”.”
