“I think I must have misread the info on this hotel. It was a 25 euro taxi ride to the town, set in an industrial estate. Maybe ok for commercial travellers. The girl on reception was charming.”
“A good location for our purposes. As a bonus, it's within walking distance of a large indoor shopping center that has many other shops in its immediate area. Vegetarians note: there's a bio shop with a lunch area, across the street and down a short distance toward the highway. There are many other restaurant options in the area. If you don't want to go out, the hotel's restaurant is adequate and the staff are accommodating. Even if your French isn't great, don't automatically default to English. Use your hotel stays to practice the language, and enjoy gaining a bit more confidence each time.”
