“This is the upmarket Ibis and it is always nice. When we arrived, the receptionist who was charming asked if we preferred a double bed as she had put us in a twin. I said yes and she promptly changed. We had a huge family room so we would not normally expect that. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was fine. But mostly it s right in the lovely city centre of Bourg en Bresse and we could easily walk to a restaurant for dinner.”

“Limited parking. It may be an Ibis Styles but this had little style. Quite dilapidated and in need of a refurbishment. Too much furniture crammed into a smallish room - king size bed, table chair etc not leaving enough room to walk around. Bathroom very poor; black mould in shower cubicle, too large a washbasin for the room and again far too cramped. Breakfast was OK.”
