“This was suitable for our overnight stay en route home from our holiday. The room was fairly small and had basic but functioning amenities, as you’d expect for a budget room. However, the cleanliness of the room was variable: bed linen, towels and sink were very clean but the room needed dusting and the floor wasn’t very clean. The breakfast was good, and although the staff didn’t speak much English, they were courteous and very patient with our limited French. The location of the hotel was convenient for an overnight stay, had ample parking and was the other side of the road from a large supermarket, fast food outlet and shops. The centre of Givet was a few minutes’ drive away, and is well worth a visit, as are other nearby towns along the River Meuse in both France and nearby Belgium – a good taste of the Ardennes.”
“Easy check in. Reasonable price for a one night stay, and close to the lovely town of Givet. self service breakfast was good plenty to eat and all fresh. Good size bedroom with comfy firm beds large shower and separate toilet. Loved watching the swallows flitting in and out of their nests in the window reveals.”
