“Bikes well looked after inside a conference room, an important consideration for those on the Via Rhona. Restaurant seemed to be the only one with a large menu in Le Pouzin.”

Slightly strange set up: two Ibis Budget and normal next to each other but separate car parks invoicing eating etc. I was in budget of course so I felt like a second class citizen. BUT very good price for the room ideal overnight or a few days stay.”

“This is a good albeit spare stopover if you need a clean and quiet place to sleep overnight on your way south. It is definitely not much more than an overnight spot. On the plus side, it was cheap and clean, and had the basics: a bed, good Wi-Fi, clean bathroom and quiet at night. We stayed here on our way to Provence and arrived late and left early. It is well located just 2 km off the autoroute and right next to the Rhone river. Parking was good, but we had to backtrack after driving right past the entry. It is behind the regular Ibis, which doesn't look much fancier. A bargain at less than 50 euros for the night!”
